The Bartlett 4th of July Committee is always looking for people to help with the festival. The committee is divided into sub-committees including band, fireworks, beer, bingo, carnival, site, potties, food vendors, parade, and more.
We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with:
Assistant Treasurer: Assist the Treasurer during the year and throughout the festival. Monitors sub committee budgets, prepares reporting and makes nightly bank deposit drops during the festival. Monitors cash availability during the festival.
Bingo: Works with local organizations to secure state licensing, secures local groups for daily work shifts, orders supplies, works with treasurer on cash availability and nightly reporting/deposits.
Scheduling: Creates shift schedules for beer tent and ticket booth. Scouts and secures local organizations /volunteers to cover shift. Prepares schedule, name tags, and complimentary tickets for each organization. Available through the festival at each shift change to make sure all areas are covered.
Table & Chairs: Set uptake down and working with local Boy Scout troop to schedule shifts for cleanup and setting up and taking down chairs.
Beer Committee: Must be 21 and over and able to lift up to 50lbs. Work beer tent area per scheduled daily shift, change out kegs, restock drinks as needed, handle any issues that arise, monitor beer tent and address volunteer/patron concerns. Cover shift and help volunteers when busy.
