Traffic Advisory – Post 4^th of July Fireworks

            The annual Bartlett Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza is scheduled for July 4, at Apple Orchard Park located near the intersection of South Bartlett Road and Stearns Road.  The fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:30 pm and finish at approximately 10:00 pm.  At the conclusion of the fireworks, the Bartlett Police Department will be carrying out traffic control in attempt to maintain and restore the safe & efficient movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.  Motorists in the general vicinity will experience heavy travel times and traffic congestion during this time.

All vehicles exiting onto South Bartlett Road north of Stearns Road will be directed northbound towards Devon Avenue.  All vehicles exiting onto South Bartlett Road south of Stearns Road will be directed southbound towards Schick Road.  All vehicles exiting onto Stearns Road west of South Bartlett Road will be directed westbound towards IL Route 59.  All vehicles exiting onto Stearns Road east of South Bartlett Road will be directed eastbound towards County Farm Road.
