Inclement Weather Notice:

The Bartlett Fourth of July Committee, NFP is dedicated to ensuring a fun and safe environment for the thousands of individuals who attend the annual Bartlett 4th of July Festival at Apple Orchard Park. Severe weather has the potential to increase the risk of injuries, loss of life, and significant damage at the festival location due to lightning, high wind gusts, hail, and tornadoes. It is crucial for the Bartlett 4th of July Committee to collaborate closely with the Bartlett Police Department and Bartlett Fire Protection District to be fully aware of all possible weather risks and to have a proactive plan to mitigate those risks.

In the event of expected severe weather, the safety of the gathering public is our top priority. If the decision is made to temporarily close the Bartlett 4th of July Festival and evacuate Apple Orchard Park, all carnival rides and games, music entertainment, and the serving of beverages and food will cease immediately, and all attendees must leave the park. It is recommended that attendees seek shelter in their vehicles, buildings, or the Bartlett Community Center, which is a designated weather shelter. Please do not seek shelter under trees, tents, or the wooden pavilion, as these do not provide adequate or safe protection. For any festival weather-related updates, please follow the Bartlett Fourth of July Facebook page or the Village of Bartlett – Illinois Facebook page.
